Frequently Asked Questions
Yes! Every new user receives 1,000 credits to get started — no credit card required. Free accounts also receive 150 Daily Refresh credits each day you log in, up to a maximum of 750 credits. You can upgrade to a paid plan whenever you're ready.
When you use SureThing, each Execution costs credits. Cost depends on factors like task complexity, how much context and data are involved, which tools and connections are active.
To optimize credit usage, break large tasks into clear, specific instructions, remove unnecessary tool connections and causal work.
Daily Refresh Credit is a bonus reward you earn just by opening SureThing each day. Every login grants 150 credits. Daily credits don't roll over, and reset at 00:00 UTC.
- Free plan: 150 credits/day (accumulates up to 750 max)
- Paid plans: 150 credits/day, every day of your billing cycle
Plan Credits are tied to your current billing cycle. Here's how expiration works:
- Same-tier renewal: Unused credits expire at the end of the cycle. When the new cycle starts, you'll receive a fresh credit allotment — the old credits do not roll over.
- Upgrading to a higher tier: Unused credits from your old cycle are extended for one additional cycle on top of the new tier's credits. They expire at the end of that next cycle.
- Downgrading: Unused credits expire at the end of the current cycle. The next cycle issues the new (lower) tier's allotment — no compensation or rollover.
Example: You're on the $30 plan with 2,000 credits left and upgrade to the $60 plan (12,000 credits). Your balance becomes 14,000 credits, all valid until your next renewal. At renewal, the unused 2,000 from the old cycle expires, and you receive a fresh 12,000 for the new $60 cycle.
If you upgrade to a higher-tier plan before your current period ends:
- You'll be charged the new plan price immediately
- Your new period starts from the upgrade date
- Unused credits from your old plan carry over
Example: You're on the $30 plan with 2,000 credits left and upgrade to the $60 plan (12,000 credits). Your balance becomes 14,000 credits, all valid until your next renewal.
Downgrading takes effect in the next billing cycle. No refunds or credit adjustments are made for the current period.
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately, reset your billing cycle, and issue a new credit grant for the new payment amount so you get the full benefit of your upgrade right away. Downgrades and plan cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period.
There are two places to view your credit consumption, depending on what you want to see:
- Settings → Usage — your full consumption history across the entire account. Best for auditing totals, spotting spikes, or reviewing a specific time range.
- Project Info panel (right side of any project) — credits consumed by that specific project over the last 3 months. Best for understanding which projects are driving your spending.
Tip: if your usage feels higher than expected, go to Settings → Usage or the Project Info panel, find the tasks that are burning credits, and pause them right there.
If you are unhappy with SureThing, we will provide a refund upon request within 28 days of your payment. Please downgrade your account to the Free plan first and then contact our team.
All paid plans include email support. If you're on a Pro plan ($200/month or more), you also get access to live video support with our team for more hands-on help.
